Summer Rodeo Series - 2013
Bull riding, barrel racing, balloon busting, steer wrestling and team roping rough riders compete each Saturday night in our 2,000 seat professional arena here at Malibu Dude Ranch. Rodeos at Malibu Ranch begin with our patriotic tribute to all branches of the armed services with the presentation of each division's flag proudly carried into the arena on horseback and followed by Old Glory.
Each event is complete with rodeo clown antics and captivating intermission performances. Cowboy Larry and Brave Beth enter the arena in their compact custom Conestoga wagon and fascinate the crowd with their Wild West Show, bullwhip demonstration, and trick shooting.
Whether it's barrel racing, mounted shooting, or roping that accompanies the bull riding, our events are guaranteed family fun! We'll have plenty of local vendors selling food, drinks and Western keepsakes.
After the rodeo, join us for classic country music and whistle-whetting spirits in our saloon while the little buckaroos dance and play games in our arcade. The Malibu Saloon is located in our Main Lodge adjacent to the rodeo arena and features entertainment every Friday and Saturday evenings.
Pro Rodeo tickets are included in weekend packages.
Hours of Operation:
Saturdays 7:00 p.m. rain or shine. Gates open: 5:30 p.m. June 29th through August 31st, 2013.
Admission:
Adults – $15; Children (age 5-12) – $10; age 4 and under is free.
